I
have been writing and performing poetry and stories for nearly thirty years...
and since my association with the Folk Scene over the last fourteen years the
performance element has come to the forefront; this includes narrating Folk musicals
at the Barbican Theatre and the Dome... the Plymouth ones! Since 1975, I have
also taught in a range of schools giving me insight and experience into what makes
children tick as far as stories, poetry and song are concerned. As a storyteller,
I have worked in many schools; in this respect the items on the children’s pages
have proved very successful, particularly, as you will see - Forest Songs. Equally
popular are my children's recipes - you'll find them! As a writer, I am happy
to write pieces to commission for your special occasion. I hope you will see that
stories and poems can be enjoyed in many ways - as in my new project Hinterland.
