I have been performing on the Folk Club circuit for more years that I can only dare to remember... and it's no use me pretending I started young! However, I can be found most Sunday nights at Folk On The Moor - comic and serious routines - who knows?
I am also an experienced Primary Teacher and am known across West Devon for my Teddy and Mouse sessions. If you are a teacher, I would be delighted to tell and perform my stories for your children... I find that KS1 pupils enjoy the Filbert MacNab sessions; whilst older Primary pupils enjoy Llewellyn's adventures too.
In addition to straightforward performance ( did I say straightforward? ) I am happy to do class and group follow up work - creative writing, storyboarding, art-work and so on.
I would also be delighted to introduce pupils to Forest Songs - with my stentorian voice bellowing out The Rock 'n' Roll Frog, many a listener has been moved ( to what, I am not quite sure! ). And finally, I am happy to give cookery demonstrations or take small groups to highlight use of the Ready, Teddy Cookbook.
If you'd like to book me for a Folk Club or Festival or suchlike, then have a go at the e-mail... and we'll see what we can come up with!
All fees p.o.a. and by negotiation. Just e-mail me!
